Calhoun – serves as Partner. Mr. Calhoun
has 57 years of industry experience. He spent the
first 25 years as a retail agent and the last 32
years marketing and managing Intestate’s wholesale
operation. His knowledge and insight of the Louisiana
marketplace coupled with his long term agency relationships
has delivered profitable results for all of his carriers. |
Lawrence
Calhoun – serves as Managing Partner. Mr. Calhoun
is charged with the day to day operations of Interstate.
He started his career in 1979 and all of it has been
spent with Interstate. His primary focus is reviewing
all underwriting and loss results and making necessary
changes to maintain a profitable status. |
Helen
Turner – serves as Partner. Mrs. Turner oversees
Human Resources, payroll and is property manager
for the building which Interstate owns and leases
to tenants.
She has been with Interstate since 1991. |
Patricia McCall – serves as Vice President of Accounting. Mrs. McCall overseas all areas of the accounting department which also includes cancellations, and our Interstate Premium Finance company.

Taylor Calhoun - serves as Premium Finance Manager. After graduating from LSU Shreveport with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Taylor joined Interstate in April 2009. He is responsible for our finance company, Interstate Premium Finance Corp. He processes contracts and works with Insureds and agents on our 24 hour / on line program.
